A controversial social media moment involving Drake Maye is making waves just days before Super Bowl 60.
An OnlyFans content creator publicly suggested that the New England Patriots quarterback appeared unhappy with his wife, Ann Michael Maye, following the AFC Championship — and even admitted to sliding into his DMs.
The Viral Comments
In a video shared by TMZ Sports on Friday, February 6, creator Forrest Smith openly questioned Maye’s demeanor after the Patriots clinched their Super Bowl spot.
“OK, this might get me canceled, but I don’t care,” Smith said. “Did you guys see Drake Maye at the end of that AFC Championship game? He did not look happy.”
She went on to make remarks about Maye’s wife, whom the quarterback married in June 2025, suggesting he could “do so much better” and characterizing Ann as a “tradwife.” Smith later acknowledged that her comments crossed a line, adding, “I know. I shouldn’t say that.”
DMs and Super Bowl Talk
Smith didn’t stop at commentary. She revealed that she sent a direct message to the 23-year-old quarterback via Instagram, referencing his postgame body language and inviting him to Miami instead of celebrating with his wife at Disney.

At the time of publication, Maye has not responded to the message.
Ann Maye’s Growing Online Presence
Ann Michael Maye has built a sizable following of her own in recent months. Her TikTok account — where she frequently shares baking and lifestyle content — has surpassed 500,000 followers, making her a recognizable figure among NFL fans online.

Fans React to Postgame Footage
Speculation intensified after some viewers commented on postgame footage shared by the NFL, suggesting that Maye and his wife’s on-field interaction felt awkward.
“His body language is throwing me off,” one user wrote.
“This was hard to watch. She was so excited for him,” added another.
Others echoed similar sentiments, though reactions were largely based on brief clips rather than extended interactions.
Maye Shuts Down the Narrative
Despite the online chatter, Maye has been vocal about his happiness in marriage. Speaking to reporters on February 2, the quarterback praised his relationship and addressed questions about marrying young.
“It’s one of the best things I’ve experienced in my life,” he said. “There’s no better feeling than coming home to a wife that loves you and cares for you.”
He added that while his teammates are in different stages of life, he has no regrets about his decision.
Eyes on Super Bowl 60
As speculation swirls online, Maye remains focused on football. The Patriots are set to face the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60, kicking off Sunday, February 8, at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
For now, Maye appears intent on letting his performance on the field — not viral speculation — do the talking.
